GNU/Linux GUI?
Almost all GNU/Linux distributions provdie a GUI these days. The interesting part is that there are a varity of GUIs available for the users. This may pose a question which one to use and which one would be easier.
The primary concept of a GUI is to provide ease of use to the users, most of the GUI have a similar approach except for a few like ratpoison which complete ignore the mouse.
Most of the GNU/Linux distro consists of a window manager and applications bundled or some go in for directly for a Desktop (Combo of Window Manager and Applicatoins)
Common applicatons consistes of a File Manager, System setting tool, GUI settings (i.e background, decorations, menu settings etc). Text editors, Software managers, Web browsers some games, graphics tools and some simple games.
